The rug showcases a captivating color palette, with indigo blue/black, red, pink and orange tones achieved through traditional dyeing methods. Its central medallion design is a beautiful blend of semi-geometric and semi-floral patterns, with broken branches adding an artistic touch. The intricate craftsmanship of this rug is evident, as it would have taken a skilled weaver approximately 8 months to complete. Hand-woven in the village of Nahavand in Central West Persia, this rug measures 310 x 165 cm and holds a gallery replacement value of $4950.
