This superb full room size Afghan chobi rug is genuinely hand knotted by skilled artisan weavers, featuring a pure hand spun wool pile on a strong cotton foundation. It would have taken approximately 9 months to carefully weave this intricate piece.
The rug showcases a refined all-over Sultani design with repeating floral medallions, stylised flowers and elegant paisley motifs, beautifully connected by flowing vines. Set on a soft natural beige and light earthy-toned field, the design is enriched with deep teal, sage green, warm rust red, burgundy, navy blue, camel and ivory accents. The detailed border frames the composition with complementary paisley and floral elements, enhancing its classic Afghan Chobi character.
